Two Apps For Fast Extra Cash

Whether you had an unexpected financial matter occur or if you missed something in your budget, you may find yourself scrambling to figure out how you’re going to pay all of your bills.

Thankfully, there are two great apps that can help you get cash fast. Each of the apps are great to have in a bind. They both offer lower fees than some other short-term loan options, like using a payday loan – which means there’s less of a chance that you would not be able to repay them because the amounts are relatively small. Each app has good reviews on Android and iOS, and are available in both formats.

#1 – Dave

Dave requires you to have regular work and direct deposit into a bank account for your paycheck. There’s a one dollar per month membership fee, and you can get up to $75 as long as you are within 10 days of a pay period. There are no other fees or interest, but it does give you the option of leaving a tip. How fast you get the money also depends on a fee. For free, you can expect your “loan” in 3 business days. If you pay $4.99, you can have the money deposited in just 8 hours.

When you get paid, the advance from Dave is automatically deducted from your bank account. Dave will also alert you when your bank account balances get low, and when regularly scheduled payments in and out of your checking account are due.

#2 – Earnin

Earnin is a bit different. You can borrow $100 a day, and up to $500 per pay period. There is no fee, but you can also leave a tip with this app. There is a sign-up process, and once your bank account and your employment has been verified, then you can start making requests through the Earnin app. It also has a feature called Lightning Speed program.

The Lighting Speed program allows you to access the cash within minutes if you sign up for it. Earnin also has a feature called Balance Shield. The Balance Shield feature alerts you if your bank account balance falls below $100, and it will automatically make an advance to you to keep your balance from going too low. It prevents you from receiving any overdraft charges.
